TOUCH is a non-profit organization focusing on eradicating breast cancer. Hayley’s goal is to bring TOUCH programming where Black women live, work, play, pray, and slay through local community outreach and national events. She is currently focused on reaching young Black women and redefining Black Breast Health.

Kemith "KC" Calvin has extensive career in education and administration, beginning as an elementary school teacher in Baltimore, MD before becoming an elementary school Guidance Counselor in the Prince George’s County School System. His advancing career resulted in leadership as a Middle School Assistant Principal and Principal. He has been a high school Administrator for the last 15 years.

Laura founded Touch4Life, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the health IQ™ of BIPOC and underserved communities and eliminate breast cancer outcomes disparities. Out of her own journey with metastatic breast cancer, Laura turned pain into purpose.

Dr. Michelle Townsend Day
Dr. Michelle Townsend Day earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans, LA in 2001. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency training program at Bridgeport Hospital in 2006. Upon completion of residency training, Dr. Day became a fellow at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York specializing in breast and body imaging finishing in 2008.

Ricki Fairley
Ricki is the co-founder and CEO of TOUCH, BBCA addressing Black Breast Cancer as a special disease state, with the overall goal of reducing the mortality rate for Black women. In January 2022, she started the When We Tri(al) Movement to change the game on Black women participating in clinical trials to improve outcomes for Black women with breast cancer with culturally humble and provocative communication that has resulted in thousands of Black women entering clinical trial research.

Sharon Hawks
Sharon Hawks is the owner and director of the Nutrition and Diabetes Education Center in Glenn Dale, MD. She is a registered dietitian and nutritionist, and one of the 19,000 elite Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist in the U.S. On a personal level, Mrs. Hawks lends her expertise as the Health Commissioner at Reid Temple, one of the largest African Methodist Episcopal congregations in the nation.

Adrianna Hopkins is a morning anchor with 7News DC who has a passion for health equity and issues that affect BIPOC communities. She’s worked closely with The White Dress Project, Morehouse School of Medicine, the Black Women’s Health Imperative, and other organizations to host and moderate events with the goal of bringing awareness and solutions to persistent and systemic inequities.

Dr. Padma (Sheila) Rajagopal
Dr. Rajagopal received her M.D. at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, during which she also received an M.P.H. in quantitative methods with a focus on genetic epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. She has been a physician-scientist early investigator at the National Cancer Institute since 2021. Her clinical practice focuses on patients with both metastatic breast cancers (primarily triple-negative breast cancer), as well as hereditary cancer syndromes.

Dr. Jenni Sheng
Dr. Sheng is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. As a breast medical oncologist, she focuses on comprehensive survivorship care with emphasis on symptom management, psychosocial aspects of care, and health promotion such as diet, exercise and interpersonal relationships. Her current research focuses on personalizing and adapting weight loss interventions, digitalizing provider and patient education, and enhancing quality of life during and after cancer.

Moniesha Jackson Shorter
Through her persuasive communication skills and unwavering determination, Moniesha has brought about meaningful change that has undoubtedly saved lives by bringing timely information about the importance of family health history, genetics, and genomic testing to the Black community in culturally relevant ways. Moniesha willingly shares her personal lived experience as a three-time breast cancer survivor to encourage women to understand their risks, to take control of their health, and to demand the care that they deserve.

Tiah Tomlin-Harris
Following a diagnosis of an aggressive form of breast cancer, or Can’t-cer as she calls it, Tiah vowed to God that if she made it through breast cancer, she would help as many women as she could fight and survive breast cancer, particularly Black women, who are disproportionately impacted by this disease. Tiah believed that no sister should walk this journey alone and founded the My Breast Years Ahead Sisterhood, a community of women survivors. She also founded My Style Matters, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on improving health outcomes and overall well-being by providing support, resources, education as well as healthy lifestyle experiences to cancer survivors and their loved ones.

Carmella retired from the U.S. government after 33 years as a research meteorologist. She is a Professional Registered Parliamentarian and Executive Director of Ivy and Pearls of Southern Maryland Community Charities, Inc.
